Victim Focus Conference: Trauma-Informed & Stengths-Based Practice
13 - 14 September, London 2022
Early Bird Tickets are now on sale.
Awareness of the importance of trauma-informed practice is growing across a wide range of sectors: from women's services to the police, social care and schools, the criminal justice system and beyond.
Since Dr Jessica Taylor founded VictimFocus 5 years ago, we've worked with thousands of people who want to improve the treatment and portrayal of those who have been subjected to violence, abuse and trauma.
Our thought-provoking conference programme will focus on trauma-informed, strengths based and anti-pathologising practice, ideas and research, and will take place over two days at the accessible StoneX Stadium in North London.
This new event will be a hub for exploring trauma-informed practice, bringing together practitioners, volunteers and researchers.
Join us to get to know each other, share ideas, research and expertise, gain new perspectives and build collaborative relationships and networks.
What can we achieve if we work together? How can we make services, policy, training and education better?
